The University Honors Program (UHP) at Santa Clara University has always been considered a prestigious program that attracts students who have achieved the highest academic levels. Each year scholars go through a rigorous application process hoping to be accepted into this elite program. Once accepted into the program, students will be enrolled in small, seminar-style classes that emphasize critical thinking, analytical rigor, effective expression, and considerable interaction with professors.

When designing the UHP logo it was important to incorporate the elite feel associated with the program. We chose a bold, elegant font to represent the program’s solid foundation upon which students would build their academic accomplishments. The ribbon that flows through and connects each of the letters speaks to the close knit community of professors and students brought together by the program.
